What happens after upload

Preparation is asynchronous so the upload can finish before analysis does.

The preparation steps

atode retrieves or extracts the source, identifies its structure and summary, finds useful vocabulary, tags topics, and deduplicates lexemes against your existing material. The result is a reviewable entry, not a transcript of private prompt instructions.

Follow the status

An entry shows pending, complete, or failed. Pending means the worker is still preparing it. Complete means vocabulary and topics are ready. Failed means the source could not be retrieved or read; open the entry to retry after fixing the source.

Privacy boundary

Preparation is scoped to your account. It does not make your source public and does not expose another learner's entries. Keep provider keys and source links private, especially when using an assistant connection.

If a source remains pending, refresh later. If it fails repeatedly, try a small text excerpt and see Troubleshooting.
